market #2

hello!

i went to the market again with my grandmother.
had roti pratha again. i somehow lyk the roti pratha there
that every tym i go there i must haf my roti pratha (:
yups.

okay.
so fortunately it was less to buy this time!
it was just some noodles and some fruits [we didnt buy fruits in the end...]
hhas.
but we did go out.
at least had breakfast.
and i got out of the house.
but not really counted lah.

okay.
but i did go out ytd!
and i haf a pilled stack of hmwk waiting for me to begin on!
anyway,

long day!

hello ppl!

what a long day today!
i watched a 'the devil wears prada' with some frenz.
was quite interesting! ;D
i lyked it!
it was so good.

then we walked arnd plaza sing.

then i met my best friend!
we went to marina bay to meet.
and my fren was so blurr...
he thought marina square was it marnia bay
...zzz...
gosh.
he told me he was quite a stranger to orchard road...
lol.
yeah.
so we took a train to city hall.
then he though marina square was quite far away
so we took a taxi
...
i suggested on walking
but hes lyk "just take a taxi lah"
...
waste so much money one lah.

then the taxi had to make a look..!
then i had to pay $2...
so blurr one!
cant stand it!
so at least he knows his way to the bowling entry
but doesnt know how to get out one...
aiyah...
so in the end,
we went to paragon to get a present for his frenz party...
but the store was closed.

so we went to shaw center.
but no slippers. [he wanted to get slippers...]
he said the girl want surfing brands.
so it was lyk
roxy, billabong, surfer...
all these kindof stuff lah.
so we were supposed to go arnd shaw center not into shaw center...
(which were instructions frm his cousin..)

in the end we were led by his cousin to peninsular plaza.
i haf passed by it so many times
but havent gone in before.
so today was the first time.
we walked around and had to follow these descriptors:

-slippers
-not plain
-size six

yeah. these were so little to choose from
then those that are nice arent really nice but fits the size.
we took such a long time to choose
but when we chose it wasnt really nice
so in the end i told him to get a bag instead.
the bag was so much nicer!
hhas.

yeah.
so we finally got the bag
and im home now.

i dont believe it!
i went out for 10 hours-as in going out kindof out.

(: i survived

hello!

i blog again!
...lol

havent blogged for quite a while!
quite a long while i must say.

"knock it down! recover! knock it down! recover!"
are the words that are still ringing in my head.

btw had camp for the past two days..
quite horrible.
but i had freaky feelings about this camp
but it didnt turn out to be as bad.
at least i haf a bed to myself
and i can sleep for proper hours!

the first night,
we slept at 9+ pm and woke up at 630!
OMgosh!
that was just the first day...
second had been far worse!
sleep at 1 am and wake up at 6 am.

the second nite i tossed and turned,
didnt really manage to get much sleep.
unfortunately.
today was the last day.
a few ppl did not make it through,
in fact some ppl even quitted!
i guess this really shows you your treshold [correct sp?] for pain...
if you do lah.

on the first nite,
i nearly thought of quitting
bcuz we were made to wake up in the middle of the nite!
for a fire drill
and also knock-it-down...
i hate that phrase!
damn irritating.

on the second day,
when the vice head prefect took in charge of us,
we were made to "knock-it down" 37 times apparently.
it was so tiring.
we were made to stay in pumping position on hard concrete.
he asked as to talk to the concrete.
ask them why we are there...
a bit the stupid ryt?
aiyoh..!
but i just kindof just put all my anger on the rocks
which kept me for a while..
after a while,
after serious numbers of pumping and screaming
and councillors saying that we suck although some of us were trying our best,
i broke down.
i couldnt take it...
i wanted out.
but i couldnt.
i needed to peservere.
i could do this.
they just said we were lousy.
we sucked.
we were the worst possible batch.
i just cried and cheered.
and just looked away from everyone else.
i just stared far away and cheered and cried.
it was really difficult.
we had to work together.
encourage each other,
if not we would have died..

as i recall,
all the blisters remind me of the pain that we had gone through,
where we worked together as a team and tried our best at everything!
we screamed our hearts out.
we gave our ALL!
but was it worth it?

rockclimbing ;D

rockclimbing ;D

yay!
i rockclimbed today!
so happy!=D
was really fun!
yups.
really enjoyed myself.
i climbed 7 times.
but on different walls of course!
lyk duh!
okay.

so the only person that i knew was Ivan, my neighbour.
even though he was my neighbour,
i didnt know him well...
yupps.
so i just went out with 30 over ppl, whom i all dunno!
seems really scary eh?
lyk you are all alone.
in the beginning i was lyk deamn quiet,
so unlyk me!
im usually very extroverted.
but with lyk so many ppl arnd,
its lyk,
you USUALLY would not lyk to step out of your comfort zone lah.
so i guess thats why i was so quiet!

but at least in the end i tried to make friends,
or at least get to know ppl.
i was lyk randomly put into a group of 4 ppl,
3 of whom i dunno.
and the other me!
so we kindof got to know each other lah.
so i think i can rmb only lyk 1 or 2 names.
which i guess shd be quite a lot lah
33% or 66%
very good in my opinion.

yup.
so the rock climbing started!
and it was really fun i tell you!
so being introverted, for the spur of the moment, [does such a phrase exist or am i making it up?]
i didnt want to start first.
so i think i was one of the last few to rockclimb lah.
but nvm.
it was quite fun.
in fact,
i did it once and then took a short break
and someone else asked me to rockclimb again.
so i was lyk
no harm doing again lah.
so i went up and came down.
isnt that always the case??
yeah.
then after that,
i wanted to be challenged even more
so i decided to go and try the next wall,
intermediate level i think.

we were then divided into two groups.
1 and 2.
and then further divided into two subgroups.
we were doing different activities,
concurrently.

so for our group {which was 2}:
we were made to rockclimb, blindfolded,
but of course, with the help of ppl giving you directions.
so we gave directions to help each other out
but towards the end we lyk kindof lyk stopped lah.
but some ppl were lyk reaally fast!
i was a bit the slow but i beat my opponent,
at least!
yeah.
so as we climbed up,
we had to depend on our frenz to give us directions on where to go.
yup.
so the winners had to compete with each other
so the fastest timed one would win.
and guess what i got?

















i got second!

lol.

what did i learn from this experience?
trusting in each other is really important.
if we do not trust in them and just lean on our own understanding,
we will just take a longer way,
and take a longer time.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding,
in all your ways acknowledge him
and he shall direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-7 (i think)

okay.
then after that,
we swopped sides
and this was our challenge:
in a group of three,
we are connected to each other by a rope
and we are supposed to climb up all the way,
supporting each other.

so as it was,
i was the LONER again.
cuz lyk ppl didnt know me well
so i went last
while the others made their own teams.
X(
so i eventually formed a team,
ivan, someone else and i.
so, we tried a few times
and didnt succeed.

in the end,
ivan didnt join us
and was the two of us.
we tried
and tried
but
didnt manage to succeed lah.
i guess i was tired.

what did i learn?
All for one and one for All.
If one person falls,
everyone falls.
but if we support each other,
we SHOULD be able to complete the challenge.
we are all part of one family.
if one of us falls we will all crumble.

in the end i attempted the intermediate wall again
but from a different part of the wall.
the instructor said that i have an agile body
and that it is good in rockclimbing.
i wished i could rockclimb more often!
hhas.
as if thats going to happen.

yup.
so the rock climbing trip had really been an enriching one
and one that you could bring home learning points!
thats what i feel is the most important in any activity!

yeah.
so im at my godma's house now
cuz my parents are away.
so
i should go and play with my sister and godsister!
so

okay.

hello.

i apologised to him personally.
yeah so its over.
finally.

okay,
hingis is out!
ARGH..
she was down 2-6 1-5,
before she tried to make a comeback in that match.
she broke her opponent, Virgine, ranked 112 in the world, to love.
Martina then held her service to love,
showing that she had been trying to make a comeback
but in the next game,
Virginie managed to win the match
after holding her service game 40-15.
Unfortunately,
Martina lost.
i thought she would have gone a lot further.
argh..!

yeah.
better not make anymore predictions!
hhas.
aiyah.
alto meeting got cancelled.
but at least got rockclimbing tmr!
hopefully will be fun and interesting??
certainly hope so...

gosh.
i havent started on my homework yet...
should start soon i guess..

i should try starting lah.

the day after tmrw is teachers day
and its also a holiday!

but next year,
no holiday cuz it falls on a saturday...

had choir today.
and a lot of work!

and its going to be half day!
